Max B Asbury Park reviews
Toad Great, Counting Crows Disappointing!
For $58, I thought the show would have been better. Toad was great, but the set was short for my tastes. Adam "talked" a lot of the lyrics and held the mic out for the audience to sing which is fine here and there, but it happened a lot. Max B was less satisfying. I've seen Max B many times, but never Toad live. They sounded a little flat, but overall was a good show. The setlist was kinda strange, not as many popular and upbeat songs as I had hoped for. I am a huge fan of both of these bands.
